I HAD THE DAY OFF!!!!

One good thing about Brooke not having a job ... he gave me the day off! I feel so refreshed and renewed. I really didn't do anything too exciting, I just didn't have to do it with the kids in tow!

I went shopping at Marc's and then Old Time Pottery. I drove over to Easton and hit up a few businesses about door prizes for our upcoming MOPS year and then I went to a movie. I saw "Monster In Law." Who knew Jane Fonda could be so darned funny. I expected it to be a cute movie, but wasn't prepared for it to be laugh-out-loud funny. I definitely recommend it!

After the movie I drove over to the Christian store in Gahanna (In His Presence?). They are very helpful there! It was getting close to 5:00 by the time I got out of there so I called Brooke to see if he needed me to pick up anything. He already had dinner going, so I decided to stop and get dessert. I went to this little bakery just down the road from the bookstore and bought each of us a piece of the most wonderful Strawberry cake (or any cake for that matter) that I've ever had. It was a yellow layer cake with whipped cream frosting; however, between the layers they had more whipped cream and fresh strawberry slices. It was heavenly!!

Tomorrow, it's back to the same old grind again ...

A New Website!!

Once again, we start over ...

Got to keep the mind active and I'm always learning new things! Hope everyone likes the new site. Things are going great for us right now. Brooke and I are both getting more involved at church and it is really making a difference in our lives. Even though Brooke was laid-off, we still have a great outlook, because we know that through God all things are possible. It's going to be fun ride ...

The kids are doing good. Brenna is registered for Kindergarten ... though I'm still leaning a little towards homeschool. We'll see what happens!
